Hello and welcome! My name is Pooja LoPriore (AKA The Henna Fairy), and I’ve had the honor of being a mehndi artist for over 15 years. My journey began in 2010 in New York, where I had the incredible opportunity to perform my first booking at a Bat Mitzvah in Long Island. Since then, I have had the privilege of sharing the beauty of henna with people from all walks of life, at countless celebrations, joyous occasions, and cultural events.
Henna is much more than an art form to me — it’s a medium through which I can connect with others, enhance life’s milestones, and create lasting memories. Whether it’s a bride’s wedding day, a baby shower, or a wellness retreat, I delight in the luxury, joy, and beauty that henna brings to any event. Over the years, I've been fortunate to work with brides, grooms, soon-to-be mothers, and resilient individuals battling health challenges, each with a unique story that inspires me every day.
My approach to henna is deeply rooted in education and cross-cultural understanding. I believe in the power of henna not just as an adornment but as a tool for personal transformation, healing, and connection. My experience has led me to expand my artistic reach, creating designs not only on skin but also on leather drums, canvas, wood, and fabric — each piece reflecting the unique essence of my clients.
Through my work, I’ve had the privilege of being part of countless personal journeys, helping individuals celebrate significant life events, achieve their aspirations, and experience moments of healing.
